Rebranding the Genuine Scooter Company
The Genuine Scooter Company proudly claims to be “The Smallest Scooter Company in America”. This point of difference means they can design, engineer, and hand-build each and every scooter that rolls out of their factory. The scooter as a form of transportation has been gaining popularity because rising energy costs have been taking a bite out of consumer’s wallets.
Rebranding Genuine was a part of my master’s thesis project. Using available demographic and customer data provided by the company, the target customer was identified and a refreshed identity and media campaign which included print advertisements and motion graphic storyboards for potential television and online ads was developed.
The brand guidelines created detailed all aspects of the brand and how it should be portrayed to potential customers.
