As a member of the LoopNet design team, I worked closely with both product managers and developers to ensure feature development and achieve product goals. Once a new feature was scoped-out by product managers and a Market Requirements Document (MRD) is produced, the project would be turned over to the design department to create a series of concepts, mock-ups or even working prototypes. My focus was iterating over various design choices and considering ways to engage with our users. Simple projects could generate approximately 10 mock-ups, while complex projects have yielded 90+ mock-ups to visually illustrate the different stats of the system or user path. One sign-off on the mock-ups was obtained, my role switched to front-end development to produce HTML versions of the mock-ups to hand-off to a back-end developer to incorporate into the system.
